Swift took to Twitter to announce the news last night, posing with a copy of the Glastonbury Free Press that reads 'From Christmas Tree Farm to Worthy Farm'. The high-profile gig sees her join the likes of Paul McCartney for the iconic festivals 50th anniversary, and also makes her the sixth solo female headliner in the festival's 50-year history.

Of course any true Swiftie could have seen this coming from a mile off, following the absence of UK dates from her worldwide ‘Lover Fest' after she announced the US and European legs of the tour earlier this year. For those of us who missed out on Glastonbury tickets , we have two options: jumping the fence (high risk but VERY high reward) or catching Swift on her only other UK solo date at Hyde Park's BST Lover Fest takeover in July (which could only be high reward).
